Buenos
Aires:
One
of the world’s largest cities in which there are over 11,000,000
habitants. It is also the most elegant and active city in South
America and the one that summarizes the heterogeneous essence of
Argentines. With a modern, hip structure and dynamic activity, it
has managed to preserve old traditions and endearing corners.
Visitors feel fascinated because of its environment, because
neighborhoods have all different personalities, and also because
people are warm and there is a wide range of shopping and cultural

Buenos

Colon
Theatre:
Is
one of the best opera houses in the world. Opened in 1908 under the
name of Teatro Colon, this theatre, with 2,367 seats and standing
room for 1,000, took twenty years to complete its construction. This
theatre is situated in 9 de Julio Avenue which is the center of the
city, but the main entrance is on Libertad Street. If you love
theatre, then you must visit and tour the underground rehearsal
halls and main hall. There is also has an Institute of Art that
provides training on lyrics and dance. The Theater attracts talent
from across the globe and has hosted many great opera artists such
as Jane Bathuri, Arturo Toscanini, Luciano Pavarotti, Renata Tebaldi,
Titta Ruffo, Giacomo Lauri-Volpi.
Puerto
Madero:
This neighborhood developed from the conversion of the old dikes and
docks that constituted the old port of Buenos Aires, into a
touristic recreational activity area. The big English-style
buildings that composed the docks were demolished and transformed
into restaurants, cinemas, offices and a university. The dikes
moorings were made for private boats and tourist military ships such
as the “Corvette Uruguay” and the” Frigate Sarmiento”.
